universal truths
mice's bones are so tiny, people have
been known to
think of mice as bugs, as not really mammals
at all. some people really do
think of mice as bugs.
these people have no idea where mice
belong in the taxonomic scheme
of things. to them, all vermin
is vermin.
these people are so
biologically ignorant,
it makes me want to puke,
or at least sneer.
goddammit, mice ain't bugs!
**
if only real conversation
were possible,
true dialogue would
be a meeting of
the hearts, when often
it's barely even a meeting
of the minds (a construct,
by the way; brain scans
reveal nothing).
