Two poems

wanna dance?

sam was a good-looking sexy young man.
and sam wished he could run faster.
perhaps if his leg muscles were just
a bit bigger, his calves a bit bulgier.
sometimes sam wondered
if ANYONE was ever totally
content with their own body.
one day, after track practice,
he ended up walking home with
anderson, another guy from the track team.
anderson was also a good-looking guy.
one bit of conversation led
to another, and, as
athletes often do, they started
talking about their own
bodies, general wishes and
fears and desires for modification.
sam says "hey wanna go
back to my place and hang out?"
anderson says "yeah," so
turns out they ended up at
sam's house,
went inside, stripped each other
naked, and compared each
other's bodies. everything and
everypart.
the violation of the no-booze rule
took place.  whiskey was
appropriated. parents, it
turns out, were out, and
not expected back till much
later in the evening.
sam & anderson,
both of them naked,
drunk, lying on the bed
in
sam's bedroom, fondling each other,
sympathetic to each other's
conditions and
desire for perfection
considered normal
sometimes the body
just takes over and
you go with it,
and the booze,
and the night falls,
and the parents
not due back till
very very late --
"turn on some music, ok?"
asks anderson.
"ok," says sam.

==============================

since you asked...

when investigating semen samples,
most men prefer to sniff with wide-spread
nostrils quivering, as if encountering something
from another planet, instead of something from
their very own dicks. they quickly
follow-up with crackers and beer to kill the aroma,
yet their memory cells are quite full of the
remembrances of semen samples of the past. they think
back to their days as sexy skinny naked young
men, aligned on their backs with the universal
ebb and flow of dynamic pulsation,
adrift in the lost era of good feelings,
when the vests they wore, had no shirts beneath, and,
when they bent to left or right, they
shared a nipple, or navel, with
whoever wanted a peek.
