These books are full of conversational, smooth, easy-to-read, homoerotic poetry, sometimes with a tone that consists of what might be described as a bit more than just a touch of gently cynical absurdism. Oh, and there are sweet vivid descriptions of lots of cute guys who are often quite happily spurting their smelly gooey cum.  (I just now came up with this description. It strikes me as pretty accurate. Pretty much anyway...)
