The Seamen's Bank for Sailors.  See what his bottom looks like! :-) It was made of cork, and had the words "The SEAMEN'S BANK for SAVINGS" stamped on it. 


These coin banks were made by McCoy Pottery, circa 1940s-1950s, for The Seamen's Bank for Savings (located in (New York City). The Seamen's Bank for Savings gave these little coin banks (each one approx 6 inches tall) to customers who opened a new savings account there.
